Chapter 13 of 18

The Field and Its Knowerक्षेत्रक्षेत्रज्ञविभागयोग

Arjuna asks about nature and spirit, the field and the one who knows it. Krishna explains that the body is the field, the witnessing Self is its knower, and he himself is the knower in every field. He names the qualities that make up true knowledge and shows how to see the one imperishable Lord dwelling equally in every being.
