Chapter 12 of 18

The Path of Devotionभक्तियोग

Arjuna asks which devotees know yoga best: those who worship Krishna in his personal form, or those who meditate on the formless. Krishna answers that loving devotion is the easier path, and offers a step for every stage, from a steady mind to simply letting go of results. He ends with a portrait of the devotee who is dear to him: kind, forgiving, content, and steady in joy and sorrow.
