Chapter 15 of 18

The Supreme Personपुरुषोत्तमयोग

Krishna describes the world as an eternal ashvattha tree with its roots above and branches below, to be cut with the axe of detachment so that one may seek the place of no return. He reveals himself as the light in sun, moon and fire, the warmth that digests food, and the presence in every heart. Beyond the perishable and higher than the imperishable, he is Purushottama, the Supreme Person.
