The Story of Bal Ganesha
Bal Ganesha is Lord Ganesha as a chubby, joyful child, beloved in countless homes for his innocence and play. The son of Shiva and Parvati, he was given the head of an elephant and made the foremost of the gods, to be worshipped before all others.
As a child he is endlessly endearing, fond of sweets, above all the modak, riding upon his little mouse, his every gesture a delight.
