ॐ ऐं ह्रीं श्रीं त्रिपुरसुन्दर्यै नमःThe Story of Tripura Sundari
Tripura Sundari, the beautiful one of the three worlds, is the third Mahavidya and the supreme goddess of the Sri Vidya tradition, also revered as Lalita and Shodashi. Radiant and gracious, she is enthroned at the heart of the Sri Yantra, the cosmos itself her seat.
She is beauty not merely of form but of consciousness, the bliss that underlies all things, the queen whose sway extends over the waking, dreaming and deep-sleep states of every being.
The Meaning
Tripura Sundari reveals that the ultimate reality is not only truth and power but supreme beauty and bliss. She is worshipped through the Sri Yantra as the union of Shiva and Shakti, and her grace draws the seeker from outer beauty to the inner splendour of the Self.
