The Story of Chandraghanta

Chandraghanta wears a crescent moon shaped like a bell, a ghanta, upon her brow, from which she takes her name. Golden of hue, riding a tiger, she bears weapons in her many hands, fierce and resplendent.

She is the form the Goddess takes to protect her devotees and to wage war on evil, the sound of her bell scattering the forces of darkness.
