ॐ देवी सिद्धिदात्र्यै नमःThe Story of Siddhidatri
Siddhidatri, the ninth and final form, is the Goddess who bestows all siddhis, the spiritual attainments and perfections. Seated serenely upon a lotus, surrounded by gods, sages and celestial beings who worship her, she completes the nine nights of Navratri.
It is said that even Lord Shiva received his powers through her grace, becoming half-united with her as Ardhanarishvara.
The Meaning
Siddhidatri is the fulfilment of the Goddess’s nine-fold journey, the giver of every blessing, spiritual and worldly. She teaches that all attainment is, in the end, her grace, and her worship on the final night of Navratri completes the devotee’s sadhana.
